How long does the diagnostic take?
Once we are able to access the vehicle logs, we are generally able to provide a report within 2-3 business days. Certain Tesla models with older computer systems can take a little longer to retrieve.
Is it really free?
Yes, customers will receive a free version of our diagnostic inspection report. Customers can also purchase a more detailed report and consultation by sending us an email at diagnostics@getamber.com.

What are remote diagnostics?
Our team of experienced Tesla technicians use the official Tesla APIs and diagnostic toolkit to remotely connect to your Tesla vehicle and access data about the vehicle and its operation, known as logs. This process in which a technician or service provider reviews vehicle logs is known as remote diagnostics.
Is my data safe?
Amber’s access to your vehicle data is always voluntary and temporary, restricted to a set time period. You may retract your approval for Amber to access your data at any time, for any reason.
Do I need to do anything for this remote diagnostic?
All we need from you to get started is one click. After you submit an application, you'll receive an automated email from noreply-toolbox@teslamotors.com requesting your authorization for a one-time access to your vehicle's internal system data. Once we get your approval, we'll take it from there!
